MEDCAP and “Operation Tuli” in COMVAL
The CMO Company (Provisional) was tasked to conduct SOT-WA operations in the area of 1001 st Infantry (Pag-asa) Brigade targeting Agri-workers-Labor Sectors in the municipality of Compostela, Compostela Valley Province.

During their immersion, the said unit initiated Medical Mission and Operation “Tuli” at Barangay San Miguel, Compostela on 240800H January 2009 purposely to promote harmonious relationships by the populace and the military in the target barangay.
The said activity was sponsored by the municipality of Compostela and the provincial health office of ComVal in coordination with the barangay officials of Brgy San Miguel headed by Hon Chairman Harry C. Cabiling.
Said activity culminated at about 1130H same date and benefited by more or less 130 civilian populace and 24 young men were circumcised.
The conduct of the MEDCAP and “Operation Tuli” was greatly appreciated by the populace and the members of the target sectors in the said barangay . As a consequence, the Command gained more trust and respect from the countryside. In addition, through the efforts of the Division to bring additional government services to the community, the Command has proven that inter-agency collaboration is the way forward in order to uplift the welfare of communities.
